At Kiaoa, we take pride in the quality of our fishing gear—from Pencil Lures and Metal Lures to Reels and Soft Plastics.
Each item is carefully inspected and packaged before shipping to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you with an easy and transparent return process.

2. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
Item Condition: Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt from kiaoa.com is required.
Exclusions: We cannot accept returns for items that show signs of use, wear, or damage caused by improper handling.
Product-Specific Conditions
Soft Plastics and Lures must remain unopened in their original sealed packaging.
Reels (Spinning and Baitcasting) must not be spooled, modified, or disassembled in any way.
Clearance or promotional items may not be eligible for return unless defective.

3. Return Process
To start a return:

with your order number, product details, and reason for return.
Verification:
Our team will confirm eligibility and issue a Return Authorization (RA) number along with detailed return instructions.
Shipping the Return:
Ship the item back to the address provided using a trackable shipping method.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (such as a wrong or defective item).
Inspection and Confirmation:
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the product to ensure it meets our return conditions.

4. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days after inspection.
You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been completed.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to Kiaoa’s error or a defective product.
If a return does not meet the required conditions, the product may be sent back to you at your own cost.

5. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:
Notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing help@kiaoa.com
Include your order number and clear photos showing the issue.
Once verified, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund depending on your preference.
We cover all costs associated with defective or incorrect items.

6. Exchanges
At this time, Kiaoa does not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to receive a different product, please return the original item for a refund and then place a new order through our online store.

7. Non-Returnable Items
For health and quality control reasons, certain products cannot be returned, including:
Opened soft baits or plastics.
Items that have come into contact with water or fishing equipment.
Customized or special-order products.

8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund after the standard processing time:
Check your bank or credit card account again.
Contact your payment provider, as it may take additional time before the refund is officially posted.
